LIFE SKILLS PROGRAMS

The Empowerment Center, Dallas, TX

New Hope Foundation's life skills programs are housed in the Empowerment Center, a 5000-square foot, nonprofit adult learning center. Currently occupied by Reverend Johnny Flowers, his foundation, also a 501 (c)(3)organization, strives to empower individuals through education and training by giving impoverished individuals a hand up and not a handout. Under Reverend Flowers' leadership, the Empowerment Center provides outreach to poor and disenfranchised individuals by providing the tools to help transform their lives through education, training and spiritual enrichment programs that make for healthier productive individuals, families and communities.

The state-of-the-art building consists of three classrooms, meeting spaces, a small kitchen, and offices and was designed and constructed to eventually accommodate an additional 5,000 square feet of useable activity space on the second floor.

The building is a gift to the residents of South Dallas and is available to other volunteer organizations that share a complimentary mission to that of New Hope Foundation and current and ongoing programs. Please contact Johnny Flowers at the Empowerment Center for more information.
